I found this unique wood slice block style coffee table at the East Cooper Home Store (a Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina). I loved it but it was in need of repairs - some of the wood pieces were loose and it was in general worn.
We removed the existing finish, applied wood glue where needed, replaced wood filler, and applied a light white wash and matte stain for a light and bright, but still natural wood, finish.
I love how this piece turned out!!
