Wireless Long Range WiFi Bridge Installation

This is an installation of a Wifi bridge to get Internet from one structure to another up to 2 to 3 KM away. This goes over my installation and challenges.

those powerline ethernet adapters are pretty nifty. I have like a half dozen or so of them kickin around my house in a box somewhere. im really into drilling holes and running cables tho. hopefully someday ill be able to use them.

You didn't mention if you used the software to peak out the Antenna alignments. if you didn't you can swing the antennas at each end to get max RSL and it may improve your data rate. good video thanks

Yes, good point. I guess you can try to lock things down with encryption and creating your own passwords etc.

Super good video and well detailed. I wonder if you tested first without powerline and with the antennas near each other so as to know if the low bandwidth was due to the antennas, ISP, powerline or what. Super thanks.

what about ping ?

usually KU-Band (assuming that "KUWFI" using KU band, that's "KU" stands for) are laggy, it's like 300-600ms ping in the receiver network.

Thx for example. Unfortunately, I have obsticals/ mountain in way. So I'm trying to figure out a solar power'd "repeater" that I can put on a common mountain peak that all 100 acres can reach.
Most importiant is connecting the 3 different complexes. Secondary would be pasture survalenc.
Scheduled drone liftoff's for livestock grazing surveillance, fence checks, yoty hazing etc. All interlocked with weather stations that input grid conditions. May not be flyable conditions at one area, but ok at another.

So, I'm still troubleshooting. Should the m/s be in repeater mode or ap mode? Right now it is set to repeater mode and for the life of me I can't figure out how to switch it over to ap mode.

I have wifi bridge for my blinds, but we have 3 in family coneected in wifi bridge with google assistant, and we used phone to control the blinds with connector app, bit when we unplig the bridge, our connection already disconnect... what we should to connected automatically in wifi bridge and no need to set up again? Did you make a How To for configuring the slave side router? I got it all plugged in and I’m stuck on why the second router has no internet connection. Bench testing it all before actual physical location install. Tia.

wouldn't having two routers like that sideswipe each other (double natting)?
