I feel Deoxys in the Delta Episode and different Mythicals you can catch in later games shows off how trivial the distinction between Legendaries and Mythicals is. They're basically the same except one of them usually is locked behind an event and that's not even needed anymore in Pecharunt's case.

Another interesting fact is that only in OrAs is Deoxys required to complete the National Dex. No other mythical is needed but they wanted to make sure you saw that postgame.

The thing I hate about Deoxys is that it’s normal form is supposed to be an all rounder but it’s stats are super imbalanced it has terrible defensive stats and might as well be attack forme light

I was gonna bring up the fun fact that Deoxys is the first Pokemon to share a battle theme with no other Pokemon but the list of Pokemon that do that is so tiny. You have it, HGSS Ho-oh, HGSS Lugia Giritina, Arceus, Necrozma, Eternatus, Calyrex, Ogrepon, Terapagos, and technically Pecharunt, ORAS Rayquaza and the HGSS Legendary Beasts.
