Hello my friend.

Well, here we are. The final chapter of The Art of War.

They say that every corpse on Mount Everest was once a highly motivated person. I've seen many a great video series begin on YouTube, only to not be completed for whatever reason. This work is now complete. Everest has been conquered.

When I first started this project 8 months ago, I truly underestimated the time it would take to complete the series. The research alone to provide the historical anecdotes has taken hundreds of hours, but it was important to add context to many of the tactics and strategies that Sun Tzu speaks of.

The end of the book has come before the end of the year, which means for you that next year will bring new projects and new videos. I am already working on this material.

I'd like to specifically thank you helping me build this channel by sharing videos you enjoy. It is much appreciated.

I wish you every success for 2018.

This entire series was extremely well done.

I think it was an odd choice to color the slaves as black, as if I recall, the helots were natives to Greece? And the Spartans believed they themselves weren't natives.

Thank you! This was an amazing series!.... Many Bothan spies died to bring us this information...

Sun Tzu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than you do, pal, because he invented it. And then he perfected it so that no living man could best him in the ring of honor.

i feel like i need to go through the byzantines system of spies and deserters as mentioned in trreatises like the taktika of Leo VI, the anonymous treatise on strategy, and the praecepta militaria

The amount of people complaining about the fact Spartans used black slaves is just ridiculous, instead of commenting about the excellently made and well explained video. They revert to overreacting and becoming offended about the ethnicity of an animated slave!

Just appreciate the video, it has some really nice information. It is laid out and animated brilliantly, well done on the video Eudaimonia and keep up the good work!

I'm having a hard time finding corroborating material on the supposed unopened letter in the Hessian commander's pocket. Can anyone supply a link?

This has been an excellent series. You deserve far more subscribers than you have. Perhaps now when it's complete, you can try to get other historical YouTubers to recommend your channel? Military History Visualized, Lindybeige and Shadiversity might give you a shout-out.

Great video with good examples. Kinda sad that the comment section focuses more on some minor coloring issue instead of the content of the video.

I didn't know ancient Sparta was involved in the slave trade during the colonial era.
