Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has spawned anti-war protests across the world, including in Russia. According to reports, thousands have been detained in Russia so far for protesting against the war.

A video from a huge demonstration has been making the rounds on social media, with claims that it is from an anti-war protest in Moscow.

The archived versions of similar posts can be seen here, here, and here.

The India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) found the claim along with the video to be misleading. This video has been on the internet since at least January 2021.

I wonder if India Today does any fact checks for what is aired on Russia Media inside Russia. if you have ever done that since Feb 24, 2022 please post the URL.

This title is misleading. Try leaving out "Moscow City" and put "Russians" in its place, because as your own video confirmed, it DID happen in Moscow, it was just that it was because of Navalny, not because of the Ukraine invasion.

Well I guess India being friends with RU and all, it's not surprising that true or not, that this real effort to scream from the tree tops should make the friendship stronger. But, you are not finding much.
