SADiLAR finds permanent home at NWU

Показать описание
Lack of language development in a country with twelve official languages will be a thing of the past, as technology offers South Africans an opportunity to communicate more efficiently with one another.
This as the South African Centre for Digital Language Resources (SADiLAR) finds a permanent home at the North West University's Potchefstroom campus.
The Department of Science and Innovation has supported SADiLaR by investing R239 million over a period of three years, as part of the new South African Research Infrastructure Roadmap (SARIR).
The centre supports the creation, management and distribution of digital language resources and applicable software, which is freely available for research purposes through the Language Resource Catalogue.
