Now I am pretty sure that the box is primary a big advertisement for Qanba. Since afterall Xiaohai doesn’t need the box against ET at all when they know each other and play each other for more than a decade. If ET wants to read him it is not like the box can stop it.

They deliberately made this happen knowing it will become a meme. Smart marketing strategy and is fairly creative too.
