Over the Pecan Nuts Farm / Arizona 2019 by 4K Drone

この映像は、アリゾナ州サン・シモンのピーカン・ナッツ農場で、ドローンによる農業支援の研究を行っている東京大学生産技術研究所の活動を記録した素材から、ドローン撮影部分を抜き出した番外編である。
農場を上空から撮影している研究用大型ドローンを、私の小型ドローンで空中から追った映像となっている。

Mavic2 Zoom、Mavic2 Pro で撮影した4K映像だが、撮影中はリモコンの5インチモニターでは確認出来なかったので、プログラムされた航路を飛行する大型ドローンの方向を予測して、小型ドローンでフォロー撮影した。日本に帰国後に24インチのモニターでやっと確認出来た。
途中サイロに上るシーン以外は、4K解像度でやっと確認出来るレンズのごみ程度のドローンだが、画面のどこかにそのドローンが写っている。

This video is an excerpt from a drone shot of the University of Tokyo's Institute of Industrial Science, which is researching the use of drones to support agriculture at a pecan nut farm in San Simon, Arizona.
My small drone followed the large research drone from the air as it captured images of the farm from above.

The images were taken with Mavic 2 Zoom and Mavic 2 Pro, but I couldn't check them with the 5-inch monitor on the remote controller during shooting. I predicted the direction of the large drone flying the programmed route and filmed the follow with my small drone. After I returned to Japan, I could finally check it on a 24-inch monitor.
Except for the scene on the way up to the silo, the drone is as small as a piece of trash on the lens that can hardly be seen in 4K resolution, but you can see the drone somewhere on the screen.
