Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko went skiing together on Monday at a famous resort in the south of Russia.
The two leaders travelled uphill in gondolas and were seen talking.
They touted their friendship saying that it's not ordinary for presidents to communicate in such an informal manner.
This ski trip comes after bilateral talks, where the Belarusian leader thanked Putin for economic support.
Russia provided Belarus with a loan of 1-point-5 billion U.S. dollars last September... in a gesture of support for Lukashenko as protesters took to the streets citing election fraud,...which Lukashenko denied and responded to with a violent crackdown.
