Awesome video and training. It made sense to me and I understood everything you said. You are a terrific instructor. I am deaf. You spoke so clearly and not to fast. Thank you so much.

I'm a lifetime knitter (50 years) and have done most things, but was always afraid of socks. NO LONGER- I'm making a pair using your directions! God bless you. You've got a lifetime subscriber here.

I have knit my first sock! This is such an easy tutorial to follow. I have gone from saying I will never knit socks to possibly a sock obsession. Thank you!

Your explanations on m1r and m1 l are brilliant. I've benn knitting socks for awhile now and gave up on remembering how to be consistent, and simply do a kfb. But you have just shone a light on this so thank you. All your tutorials are really wonderful (as are your podcasts).

Hello Ellie Ifound your site quite by accident and subscribed today. You are so interesting down to earth and someone after my own heart. I love to knit, sew, bead, make greeting cards etc. I only wish more people like yourself were around to show these fabulous podcasts. I too feel like my relatives who taught me so much aunts and my mom were still around so I have to watch these videos to get inspired. I also love that a British person is flicking instead of continental knitting. I have down a bit of dabbling with the judy magic loop cast on with the toe up version. I really love that you are demonstrating with the toe up version. Have to try these hiya needles and this beautiful yarn. Greetings from MA . my grandmother was from Bolton England and taught me how to knit.

Hi Ellie. After a few false starts I'm knitting along with you. I've only knitted two pairs of socks before and one of those was your love and to cherish socks so I know I'm in safe hands. X
