Many people are probably feeling uncomfortable with their portfolio and some may even be panic selling! I cannot in good conscience agree with the use of participating insurances. In every example I’ve looked at these represent a bad value. Even if the case was to be made for them it would be in a very narrow niche market of significantly high net worth clientele.

I want to self-direct my own portfolio but have $ in mutual funds with a big bank. I'm thinking of moving to Questrade - should I liquidate now and buy back in (ETFs), or move "as is" and wait until a better time to liquidate? Either way, I do not want anymore mutual funds! Most newbie’s investors often undermine and neglect the importance of technical analysis with regards to trading bitcoin. Technical analysis overly predicts the movement of asset prices regardless of what is happening in the wider or broader market. Essentially, the process involves studying the paths of a particular asset movement in the past so as to establish a sustainable pattern that can be used to predict future movements. I would encourage investors to trade as I have been doing with Mr Edwin Clifford since the last bear market, increasing my portfolio daily

Threw 300k into the market when it dropped Dec 3. I figured since I'm 35, I have lots of time to weather the storm if it were to fall further. But hey, Dec 8 today and it rebounded and I made a nice chunk of change already.

And what if your so called correction wipes out everyone on here that believes you? A correction on a very high timeframe could last many many months longer than the richest independent trader/investor can stand--get a grip Jack---seriously GET A GRIP!!!
