i have done 3 years articleship.. i can say that those years are just a wasted part of my life.. no profession (doctor, lawyer, CS, CMA ) requires 3 years intership and that too before getting the degree !! it seems like a planned set up to provide cheap bonded labours..

Sir please kindly raise the issue of articleship also wasting 3 years of students with low or no stipend with poor work condition where principle exploits them as a slave overburdened with work with pressure of studies and coaching playing with mental & physical health of student
After all this student has no power all power lies in the hand of principle weather to sign 108 or not
Even not providing holidays for exam
Plz abolish thia harsh system for students and after all this hardships icai not passing the students in final examination playing very badly with there career wasting 4-5 years of student life with full on torture this very wrong policies followed on part of icai

I see many comments on CA Articleship period cut down time. But atleast in short run no one will be protesting against it. Bcz students want to finish it as soon as possible so they dont have time for this and the CAs wont fight for it bcz its how they get slaves where sometimes even there is harrassment happening. So unless there is a good ICAI President who understands our pain no one is gonna change it. Believe me. Maybe when our mext generation is preparing, they will have some leverage
