John Pollack spoke about the power of analogies. He used an analogy to solidify a job as a presidential speechwriter and now he continues to explore how analogies may be the key to changing the world. A native Ann Arborite, John Pollack is an insightful individual and a masterful storyteller, having used his talents as the former presidential speechwriter for former United States president Bill Clinton. He now uses his writing prowess as a consultant, having served several Fortune 500 companies, non profits, and major philanthropists over the last 15 years. His latest works involve studying the powers of analogies and language in shaping our society around us.

Very engaging. Listening to him is like delving into a great detective novel while laying on a sunny beach.

His story about Bill Clan is incorrect. That is not how Henry Ford started the automation process. It was George Washington Carver who told Henry Ford about the automation process. Carver loved plant life and his love for plant life and the process of it is why factories are called... “plants” still to this day.
