Beautiful, brittle, guitar based pieces, a new calm, a fire underneath. This band started its journey twelve years ago, released four albums, won the Neuer Deutscher Jazzpreis in 2013 and literally toured the world. Enjoying reduction, repetition and serious playfulness, the search for the
material´s essence, purely following emotional musical decisions, not exuberant concepts.
Max´ extensive work as a composer in the field of contemporary music over the last years influenced the way he shaped the bands new music - but in a different way one might think.
