Great videos brought back lots of memories bought my first 66 convertible in 1978 for $2500. Enjoyed it for three years sold for $8000 put the money down on my first house that was 40, 000. My father said you can’t live in a Corvette.

I’M with you the small block L79 was the best for handling and fast enough. 67 was the best year with those blemishes all eliminated and a center console emergency brake. The Coupes are also tighter and quieter that the convertible. Man I miss my car it was the most fun to drive, reliable, good on fuel if ya could keep your foot out of it which was hard to do and the maintenance easy. Cracking happens but I also drove over Railroad track slowly and never had any. This was a great and honest video, thanks

Thanks for this, great video and presentation…my Q is why do “similar” Corvettes have such a HUGE range in price….looking at two, same year (different engine)but one is $70K one is $155K…is there something that really adds that much value?
