Entering Busy Major Roads | Learn to drive: Intermediate skills

Knowing when it is safe to enter a busy major road can be tricky to judge. A driver has to get their own car ready to go, watch the traffic flow for a gap, and then enter the major road. We have already covered how to master the car control skills required to pull the car away in our other videos, so in this video we will concentrate on how to spot a safe opportunity to go.

There's a road similar to the one in this vid, but it's quite busy with the traffic coming from the left and I need to turn right. Thing is the left is usually In traffic and the vehicles on the right near constantly approaching.

Would the best method for me who is turning right, wait until there is a clear gap on the right and then drive out and wait for the traffic to the left to give me way?

Or do I wait until there are gaps on both sides of the road? Cheers.
