Okay my theory is that the half and half medic are two types of people, (medic, being unstable, would probably have more than two personalities but anyway) they are both trying to fight for control, and when one wins the other side goes limp as we see when edgy medic kills people for no reason or any reason, the good side goes limp, then the good side ate a cupcake, the bad side went limp. So I'm thinking it's either a combined version of those other two medics we saw in the video, or they are their "devil and angel" medics good and bad side. And when it shows all those other medics, like unicorn medic and logical medic, they are personalities of each side.

Pink - The innocence he still has
Orange - The one who practices medicine properly, and follows the hypocratic oath daily
Blue - The sane side of him who wants to help himself and others
Red - The insane side of him which wants to hurt himself
Tan - The cold, loveless side which holds no compassion, the one who breaks the hypocratic oath daily
Yellow - The sadist side within him he has a hard time controling

White - The one main side of him which loves to help, practice medicine and do what's best for others
He is a pure soul, who would never harm anyone. It just isn't who he is, as all he knows is love.
- Made up of Blue, Pink and Orange

Black - The other main side which is a pure, loveless sadist only out for himself and the pain of others
He is a truly corrupted soul, out to harm and kill, hate-filled and cold he will never know love.
- Made up of Red, Tan and Yellow

SPLICE GREY

The Medic made to show the split personalities within Medic, he is split down the middle to show his split soul. With Multiple Personality Disorder, it is normal to show physical changes depending on who is in control. This shows the chaos inside him, how he cannot find himself, as he is both pure and loving while corrupt and loveless at the same time. This is his confusion and pain of not knowing who he really is given a form.

Watching this multiple times, it has become clear this is the truth behind it. He doesn't know who he really is, being both Light and Dark Medic at the same time. He has been split in half, his soul now two halves of the same whole. It is painful for him, and it shows.

HOWEVER, they can both be in control at the same time, as has been shown a few times.

Very nice 2D and 3D animation and transition, the effect is perfect, the expression is VERY amazing and clear. This is very different from many animation memes (in a good way). Fantastic animation!

So, what I'm pulling from this is that this Medic is suffering from DID (dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as MPD or multiple personality disorder), and every color seen here represents a different personality/alter.
I think Grey is the APN ("apparently normal part"), or the host, and he is most often active. Every other color, especially Blue, are the EPs, or emotional parts; the ones who hold the traumatic memories for Grey. I say Grey is the host because he's in the middle of all the personalities in the last frame.
The warm colors, Red (Beige? Orange?) and Yellow, seem to be Persecutors, or alters that actively try to harm the body/host or other people, or Psychotic alters. Since they're mostly seen covered in blood, I think it's a safe assumption. Yellow is the most unstable, and is probably in a constant state of psychotic euphoria, in a sense. Red is the most violent, and it appears that he lives in schadenfreude. I can't quite tell how Beige is for the most part.
Blue, Orange, and Pink seem to be the Caretakers of the system, the ones who try to keep the body healthy and out of trouble while holding the trauma. Blue seems to be the personality created to hold a majority of the trauma due to how sensitive and upset he constantly seems. Him being beat up a lot could also hint to him fronting whenever the body is in danger to take the damage for the sake of the system. Orange is probably the one trying to keep the body healthy for the most part, which I assume because of his mask and inquisitive/knowing appearance in the video. Pink may be a sexual alter created to defend from and hold sexually traumatic experiences, but I'm not too positive about this one.
Black and White seem to be Twin alters (two alters who are the same in age and appearance, but completely different in mannerisms). Black seems to be a Gatekeeper alter, as he is extremely prominent in the video and is constantly looming over White's shoulder. They could even be a form of double fronting host, in a sense, hence why Grey halved his face. White is probably the main Caretaker of the system, similar to Orange, but he is more often fronting (that is, whenever Black isn't keeping him subdued).
Whenever the "bad" alters are active/fronting, the right side of Grey goes limp, and while the "good" alters are fronting, the left side goes limp.
