correction: the 1 member to 5 guest quota is for implementing azure MFA. There is a limit of 20, 000 guest for one tenant in Teams

Thanks for this.. prepping for the Teams certification exam and I was getting really caught up in guest vs external. This cleared it up. 😃

Hi Andy. Absolutely brilliant. Your explanation and presentation was clear, and perfectly paced. Thank you so much, this is really helpful content. Do you have any content from a guest user perspective, or what the responsibilities and monitoring capabilities are for guest sharing? Many thanks.

Hello Andy,

Hope you are also safe.

Thanks for clearing the concept.

Would you mind to give more info on 5:1 ratio between guest and licensed user account?

Is there a way to give guest administrator access w/out having a local account @domain (accessing another tenant / domain, as a "guest admin", when I don't have an account under that domain)? Or do I need to have an account under that domain?

Great video!!! Just a question, would it be possible to add ALL the users of a specific domain/tenant in one "click" ;-) avoinding manual creation; for example, if our company acquires another company and we want to keep separate tenants but still collaborate... How to avoid the manual creation of 100 guest users? Thank you!

Hi Andy. Thanks for this video. I have a Guest user (external to my org and domain) in my AAD which I would like to give access to one my O365 Shared Mailbox accounts (so this is the O365 account for my organisation). The guest email appears in my O365 Admin Users list, as unlicensed, and with an oddly garbled email-address (not sure if that's a problem). But when I go to the Shared Mailbox, then to the section to add users, the only ones that appear in the list are the 'licensed' users from my org/domain. Is this even possible? I have seen other YouTube videos where I have seen other external email addresses appearing in their list at the same point.
