The African candidate on the shortlist to assume the position of Director-General of the World Trade Organisation says she will bring a wealth of experience to the job if successful. The WTO is set to reach a consensus later this month that will determine whether Nigeria's Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala will become the first woman and African to hold the position. She is up against South Korea's Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee in the final stages of the race. SABC's Sherwin Bryce-Pease was in conversation with Dr. Okonjo Iweala as the moment of truth draws closer and closer.

If okonjo is selected, it will be one of the worst director of WTO. Her behavior is not unacceptable that she is acting like selected director in media recently and create faults articles that she won the election, but the voting process is not conducted yet. I understand she comes from such a corrupting country and she thinks such behavior is acceptable. Hay mischievous lady, be shamed of yourself. We know your will be puppet of Chinese control. Just disgusting the way you behave. Again you should not act like you are the selected director of WTO until you are actually win the election.
