Christina Aguilera Being Extra AF & Oversinging

I want to clarify that by oversinging I don't mean that all these clips are bad. Some of these are my favorite vocal moments of her while others didn't work that well in my opinion.

BRILLIANT!! obviously when there’s a compilation made of the climaxes of lots of her performances, it doesn’t translate in the same way as seeing the performance as a whole with the build up and softer moments leading up to it and will sound irritating for that reason to some, I still loved it regardless.

I can see why people arent fond of the style. Its a LOT. But i think thats what makes her absolutely incredible!!!! Her control is amazing and effortless. She sings with her heart too, which makes her captivating to watch. Some people are clearly born to do certain things, she was undoubtedly born to sing

Her riffs and melisma are actually really difficult to do. I have yet to see other singers try how she plays up songs. That’s why she’s always tapped to do tributes coz she’s able to reinterpret a song. She’s able to put her stamp on songs with her renditions. Her voice now is even richer and stronger and all her riffs are more effortless.

One of the MOST EXHAUSTING singers I’ve ever listened to. To be gifted with such a stunning voice and to use it in such a ridiculous way is so annoying. I have yet to see her actually connect with a song she’s singing cuz all she wants to do is perform riffs and runs to the point where she goes off the rails and many times goes off pitch. She’s never had great songs anyway but maybe one of these days I’ll be able to actually hear her SING instead of her performing obnoxious vocal exercises to no end!
