Problem Statement:
A canal 8' wide, is planned to supply water to agricultural land in
rural areas. Maximum possible flow is 55 cfs. Due to some site related
issues it's width has to be reduced to 5'. As an hydraulic design
engineer you are asked to find water surface elevation at X-section
A, B, C, D, & E as mentioned in a figure.
Mannings n = 0.0012
Slope = 0.005
Design Depth of channel = 10'
