The Only BMW 335i Exhaust Setup That Makes Sense

For the sake of experimenting, I decided to convert my straight exhaust system on my E90 BMW 335i to one that has a muffler. Having a loud setup can be fun, but sometimes a bit annoying. In theory this change should make the driving experience less obnoxious especially when cruising at higher speeds. The best part is, that you can always switch between the loud and quieter variations in a matter of minutes, giving you the ultimate flexibility.

Maybe I’m old, but I got rid of my ATM exhaust which is similar to the VRSF race exhaust except with an added resonator. I got a valved exhaust which gave me the best of both worlds

I had a VRSF race muffler (muffler delete) on my 335i F30 and the fitment was kinda bad and it was blowing my eardrums out, so I ended up switching to an AWE cat back system. It was expensive as hell, but I do not regret it.

I would love to get the vrsf system for my 135 that came out this year but everyone on the forums that bought it has had horrible fitment issues and couldn't get it to work without major modifications. Vrsf has already refused a few refunds or offered partial refunds for them. There are only three reviews on the website and all of them say that the fitment is good though and if I was able to just blow 800 bucks on an exhaust that might fit I would but I don't feel like having to modify an exhaust that should fit perfectly out of the box.

Single turbo 335i owner here and I have the vrsf race exhaust with the resonator and man the drone is so annoying on the highway speeds in the city it’s not even noticeable no drone but highway is annoying I’m going to definitely try this setup! The only thing worried about is I have a e92 m3 rear bumper and muffler shop had to mod the rear end idk if it’ll be possible to mod the piping enough with the muffler guess we’ll see
