Dana Lawton Dances at ISB

ISB hosted a dance residency featuring the Dana Lawton Dances company and the founder of ISB's Dance Program, John McConnville. Dana Lawton, the artistic director, focuses on multi-generational dancing, showcasing the beauty of movement and the body at all ages. The DLD company worked with ISB students, teaching them dance skills and storytelling through performances based on 19th-century lighthouse keepers on the Farallon Islands. The students had the opportunity to perform alongside professional dancers, including a solo by Jaleea Price, ISB's HS/MS Dance & Performing Arts teacher. The performances took place at ISB and the Bangkok Arts & Culture Centre, contributing to the vibrant arts scene in Bangkok.
