Did you say $499, for that, it's ok for about $50-$100 and if the issues with the watch was fixed, but $499 is a bit to much to pay for a unknown watch brand and especially a Chinese one.

And I know you don't do headphone reviews anymore but seriously get a pair of Rockville Pro-M50 headphones! They are awesome, if you don't believe me, get a pair, they're only $50 and they exceeded the $150 ten year old Sony MDR's they replaced and were bought out of panic because I needed headphones when those broke, they surpassed them by miles.

You’re definitely not being a jerk. I think you are about Invicta though. I thought the first pro diver you reviewed you actually kind of liked. Also, at least the base pro divers are under $100 and you get quite a bit for the money. Winding and hacking, exhibition case back, and it looks great. This watch is total crap though and is much more expensive. Phoibos is by far the best option if you want to go Chinese.

late to the party, i am. enjoyed the review. if this was one of the first watches i owned, i would have immediately lost interest in watches (might have been for the best). i would never have spent this much anyway. for this kind of money there really are almost an infinite supply of much better timepieces, even two years later...

Im looking at the review and it seems you actually don't hate the watch. There are a few other nice models on Touch of Modern today. Check those out. They look better.

You can't complain about a Chinese watch not having their bezel alighend if you are a fan of Seiko. They are the biggest offenders of misaligned bezels

I'm not with you on the weight. I like a heavy watch. If you ever try a solid gold or platinum watch, one of the pleasures is the weight, which is much heavier than steel. Also bezel action, as long as it isn't horrible, isn't that important to me. I almost never use my bezels to time anything. I can only remember once in the past year that I have done so. And to be honest, the hacking isn't important to me either. I have never used hacking in my life despite most of my autos having hacking. Do you use hacking to set the time?
