Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα σε ελληνικές ειδησεογραφικές ιστοσελίδες, τα οποία βασίζονται σε πληροφορίες από το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ και την τουρκική Daily Sabah, o Tούρκος πρόεδρος Ταγίπ Ερντογάν, κατά τη διάρκεια ομιλίας του, για τα εγκαίνια αυτοκινητόδρομου στην Τουρκία, είπε ότι η απόφαση που πάρθηκε από τις ΗΠΑ για κυρώσεις εναντίον της Τουρκίας, είναι: "μία ανοικτή επίθεση εναντίον της κυριαρχίας μας"

Όσο κι αν δεν τον γουστάρω τον Ερντογάν κι όλα αυτά που κάνει θα ήθελα πολύ να ακούσω έναν Έλληνα πρωθυπουργό να μιλά έτσι.
Η Τουρκία πιστεύει ότι ήρθε ο καιρός και ο χρόνος του απογαλακτισμού της από τον νταβατσή τής.
Ναι θα φάει κυρώσεις όπως στο παρελθόν είχε φάει και η Κίνα για το πυρηνικό της πρόγραμμα
Η Κίνα όμως δεν έσκυψε δεν προσκύνησε και κατάφερε να έχει σήμερα την δική της πανίσχυρη αμυντική βιομηχανία, τεχνολογία, , οικονομία, και να κοιτάει την Αμερική στα μάτια και να της λέει ότι ήρθε ο καιρός να γίνεις 2η πίσω από εμένα.
