Fayetteville is a city in Cumberland County, North Carolina. It is the county seat of Cumberland County and is best known as the home of Fort Bragg, the largest military installation in the world.
Fayetteville has received the All-America City Award from the National Civic League three times. It is the 6th-largest city in North Carolina. Fayetteville is in the Sandhills in the western part of the Coastal Plain region, on the Cape Fear River. It has a thriving, redeveloped downtown with numerous restaurants and a world class minor league baseball stadium that's home to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers.

Most of the restaurants and shops downtown are abandoned. There are a few good places, like Antonella’s, but otherwise not much here. Plus they added a baseball stadium, making a crowded area even more crowded.

At least the prices of homes there are still cheap compared to other areas.
