Second SpaceX Starship prototype rocket explodes during landing

SpaceX’s Starship prototype rocket crashed in a fireball as it attempted an upright landing during a test flight on February 2, 2021. It was the second Starship explosion after the previous prototype met a similar fate in December. SpaceX hopes the rocket system will one day carry humans to Mars.

To all the people in the comments saying it was a failure and a waste of money. SN9 was a success in gaining data and information so they can be proficient when they actually land on Mars. Its better to explode now than with crew onboard. No, it is not a waste of money. SpaceX’s Starship is projected to cost around 2 million dollars per launch compared to NASA’s SLS costing an estimated 2 billion not to mention extensive delays and decreased performance. No it will not be used as a weapons system. Starship is not and probably will never launch nuclear warheads. It is not better than the ICBMs America currently has. The cause of the rapid unscheduled disassembly we predict is one of the raptor engines failure to relight during landing. It may be like SN5, or the difficulties of creating a metholox(methane and liquid oxygen) full flow engine. No this is not polluting the atmosphere alot. Metholox burns cleaner than RP-1(type of kerosene) used in most engines including the Merlin used on Falcon 9 and Heavy. Most of the smoke is water vapor as a result of the metholox. SN9 has FAA clearance this time and Elon Musk seeks to reduce global warming. No it is not CGI, SpaceX fans flock to Boca Chica to witness the history being made at this time. If it was one large conspiracy, it would be almost impossible to cover it up. If you have chance to visit the SpaceX Launch Facility, I promise it would be there. When SpaceX is successful, it would be an achievement for humanity and sooner or later, Starship launches and landings will be as common as a car driving down a road. Any other questions ill respond in the replys.
