I like to stay in nice hotels. I also don't like paying $300 a night...especially not in my hometown of Buffalo, NY. I almost didn't stay at this hotel because the reviews were so bad. But I was also curious to know why people thought the Garden Place Hotel it was so awful. Have you ever stayed in a place with horrible reviews and, if so, was it as bad as the reviewers claimed?

I dont pay 300 plus for rooms EVER. People today are too pampered and full of it. Sure if a place is under 6 on booking I won't go, but many a decent room is out there in the 70 to 140 range. Just avoid holidays and large events.
