hands down one of the greatest superhero shows of all time even though it was only one season. I personally think without it we never would get to the Other dc superhero shows let alone the arrowverse shows.

Such a shame the series didn't last longer. It was a great superhero show, especially for it's time. Also probably the closest we'll ever get to a live action Batman: TAS style live action show with the art deco design and Shirley Walker score.

I liked the CW Flash but honestly the running animations in this one look better.

I wouldn't mind getting this, I had a couple of VHS tapes of it back in the late 90s and found it a show with good actors, terrific effects-work, but a terrible costume, and very weak scripts on the whole... It was definitely lifted by the charisma and efforts of the main cast, and yet I don't think it knew _what_ audience it was going for - you can see the uncertainty of that in this trailer.

It's influenced by Tim Burton's Batman, it is thinking of that film, but Batman isn't The Flash. So I imagine the scheduling for it would have been a bit of a nightmare for broadcasters...
