We put down kraft paper over the concrete in our showroom before tiling it. We change out the showroom floors a lot as we get new tile all the time and old ones go out of style. Kraft-paper makes removal of an old outdated showroom floor much easier as it isn’t bonded to the concrete.

Great video as always Isaac, wish i could work for a guy like you. Been doing tile work down here in Texas ever since i got out of high school. Haven't had much progress moving up because i do everything else so well and no one else does, so i get kept here in the same place. The video is great. I wonder how you would deal with a floor that is not exactly level. Would you use floor leveler first? Also, I have a narrow half bath and have picked out an 8x8 porcelain tile with a large star centered in the middle and small quarter stars in the corners. Would I start in the middle and work out so the cuts match or would I work from one side to the other?
