Restore it to factory conditions. Don’t forget the factory CD player.

Keep it stock with a few bolt ons. No coyote in this one! #SaveTheCobras

Bill, that car is rough as hell and I LOVE IT! Always been a fan of the teal! Do with it what makes you happy.

I’d say restore it with some tasteful mods. (Tasteful is subjective of course) Those teal Cobras are such beautiful cars. I’d love to have one myself.

Bill.. you know that exact car has always been my dream car.. heck the 88 was a tribute to that.. 'dafobra' lol.. anyway... if it were me, I'd restore the entire car to OEM specs as far as looks... get some 17x9 93 Cobra replica wheels in 5 lug.. big brakes all around (Cobra spec more than likely with the calipers done in the same teal) and a gen 2 Coyote and MT82 or T56... classic fox looks with updated power and brakes.. not a drag car but a great 450ish rw cruiser... yes please...

Ok, here me out. Full blown resto mod. Aluminum 427W (gotta stay pushrod) with t56 transmission. Shaved/tucked engine bay. Obviously suspension upgrades to obtain a mean stance. Big brakes all around. Slick wheel and tire combo. Modern bolstered seats (maybe recaro). Rear seat delete with some premium sound. A head turning car while avoiding pure blashemy.

That’s gonna be one beautiful car when it’s done. I’ve always loved the color.

Cobras of this lineage are cool especially the teal, which was a Cobra specific color very different from the reef blue on the GT and LX models in 1993. I think going old school on this one with period correct mods like a Vortech V1, an E cam, and everything else stock in appearance would be a fitting tribute to the final year of the true Fox body. Since many items from the SN95 models can be swapped over, bigger brakes, 5 lugs would be a great upgrade since the 1993 R model had these. The original wheels are 4 lug, so replicas would still get you the factory look. Great wish I kept my 1991 LX 5.0 but hey my current 2014 Coyote GT is similar with the number of mods available especially the interchangeable ability between GT, V6 and GT500 models.

Keep the videos coming...they've help tremendously with upgrading our cars...Bill you have earned the title of Mustang Melvin!

My favorite color for those cars! If it were mine, I'd restore to look original, but do some performance upgrades along the way. But it's your car, and just about any direction you go will be an improvement, and keep this one on the road.

Hey Bill restoring a red 93 cobra myself, dropped the seats off today at the upholstery shop, really looking forward to these videos of your rebuild! Restore that puppy back to near original, to many foxbody race cars on YouTube already, you will be the only person documenting a back to stock build, aside from me 🍻🤝

Oh what a beautiful car, I'm so happy for you! I feel the same way about my 89' GT 'vert in code 21 red, which you guys have helped me get to where it is today ( thank you again ). Please, please restore it on the exterior and interior, but upgrade the engine bay tastefully. It deserves a little more oomf ( measured using a butt dial ). I put heads and a cam, with 30# injectors and a 75mm throttle body with a dumped exhaust on mine. From the outside you would never know anything has been done ( I love my 4 lug rims lol ). I still look back at it every time I park, and I hope you do the same.

Hey Bill! I love it, I think it would be a great project to work on. Personally I like the notch back models back then, they used to remind me of my little red 66 mustang I wish I still had it. Good luck with the build, can't wait to see it ☺.

Restore restore Upgrade brakes and suspension if you want to make it handle and ride like new, but keep it original and looking like a Cobra. The look is what makes the car special, plus that calypso green paint is amazing on those! Can’t wait for the project to start!!!
