Nightcrawler has always been my favorite, but dang I don’t think I’ve seen him this happy before. Closest was Nightcrawler from Evolution, and even then he had enough (justified) hang ups to not always be the fun dude.

I love this scene so much, not only because we get to see Kurt using his Catholic faith to give advice, but we also get an analysis of Gambit.

When he says he's "too busy sinning, " he's trying to justify to himself why he doesn't deserve to love and be with someone like Rogue. He's saying "I'm too far gone for mercy. Rogue should have someone less sinful."

Kurt realizes this, and states that "there is no love without sin." In other words, he reminds his friend that "The temptation to sin will always be there, no matter who and where you are. So, you must strive to rise above that through forgiveness and charity."

I love this new side of Kurt's. I don't usually see Nightcrawler joking much in most shows beside x-men evolution. Hope he is officially part if the x-men after this. Also i was not happy seeing him almost killed yet seriously hurt. Don't get me started with Gambit.
