All that duct tape reminds me of a laptop I had a while back. I dropped it and the case basically shattered into a bunch of pieces. Still worked fine, though, so I just taped it together.

That screwing mechanism is so ingenious, don't think I've seen it before. Also I think it would be better for you to rotate both PCBs 180 degrees so that the cables are facing down instead of putting more pressure by going up.

This would a be a pretty sweet screen for playing older games as it appears to be closer to a 4:3 ratio and pretty big.
