Actavo Building Solutions - Granard Primary School Walkthrough

Actavo were appointed by the London Borough of Wandsworth to Design & Build a new modular classroom block at Granard Primary School ready for their new intake in September 2015.

The 1280m2 modular building is due to be handed over in mid-July and will be open for the new term in September 2015. The building was designed by Bond Bryan Architects and incorporates standing seam zinc cladding and roof system. The front elevation is a full glazed curtain walling system allowing natural light into the classroom and study area.

Actavo are providing a full turnkey package for this offsite solution, including all the piling, groundworks, external landscaping and services. The M & E design incorporates natural ventilation through a Breathing Buildings System and In-tek roof vents. Ceiling mounted radiant panels provide heating throughout and concrete floors provide a solid feel and improved acoustic performance.
The modular school building was completed in only 22 weeks.
