[Link in description] Here's a little demo of the Yamaha 8310Z flugelhorn we have for sale right now at the shop. Super fun horn to play! A bit lighter and brighter than my everyday flugel (the Adams F3). The sound is very even and intonation is excellent.
I played a Yamaha 6310Z flugelhorn on my first album, and this 8310Z is a big step up. The trigger design is much more ergonomic, and there's a chamfered section of the leadpipe that adds a touch of resistance. I find it closes off a little in the upper register (it's a flugelhorn...) but not too much. Overall a very comfortable horn to play!
