Heifetz's instruction -
When you practice arpeggios on 2nd time round, practice in slur staccato, one each note then double staccatos each note.

I think the pitch and go would just work for slow staccato, fast comes from tightening the arm to make it move in a shaky way, the hard part is lesrning to control it and timing it with left hand.

i thought that staccato and martele are slightly different and that what you are showing in this vid is called up bw staccato, but detache staccato is different from martele, or not?

You're over thinking it. There are a few ways to do it. Practice it slowly while playing your 3 and 4 octave scales. Speed it up slowly over the course of 6 months. At the end of that time you'll have it.
