There are few things to consider here, as some other people have said.
1) The Spitfire in the video is of model IX, which is not the latest nor the most powerful model of WW2. It uses a Merlin engine instead of the newer Griffon 65 engine that powers the Spitfire XIV model. A Spitfire XIV would have performed better here, but DCS currently doesn't have a flyable XIV version.
2) P-51D with its 2-stage 2-speed supercharger coupled with Packard V-1650-7 is often considered the fastest single piston fighter of the war, but only at a high altitude. This drag race (correctly) doesn't let the P-51D perform at its maximum potential.
3) Bf-109 K-4 is actually more powerful than people think. Its DB 605 DC engine with C3 fuel gives it enormous power (2000 PS). Coupled with MW50 methanol injection (which was also used in this drag race) the Kurfurst can momentarily have an excessive amount of WEP goodiness. At high altitudes it can go beyond 700 km/h, which is pretty amazing for its "obsolete" chassis. So yes, Kurfurst is a completely different beast compared to the common Gustav line of Bf -109s, which is frequently used as a reference point for Bf's performance characteristics.

Did my own 6 mile run in a P-51D loaded with ammunition on a flat run out to sea and got it up to 310 knots. Would love to try it against you folks for a fair test.

Your titles for the aircraft speeds are not entirely correct, just a heads up.

Well the Bf-109K4 version came in 1944 and the Spitfire mkIX came in 1942 they are not in the same class performance wise.
You'd have better luck racing a Bf-109G10 :D

Yh we all know the p51 could have done better with a more capable pilot at the stick but it also shows how much the Germans were able to eek out of the small obsolete chassis mainly the engine

What was the power setting on the P-51 ?
it can speed up to 400 mph flight level.

You need someone who knows how to get some speed out of the Mustang. No way it should have been last.

That was bizarre. What should've happen was the Bf109 takes the lead and maintains it at the beginning. Spitfire closely follows. Mustang then surpasses Spitfire while barely gaining on Bf109.

The Bf-109 was in last place at the beginning which doesn't make any sense. The P-51 stayed with the Spitfire the entire but didnt pass it.

Not a fair race P 51s better at high altitude then it would beat the spit fire.
