$26 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Gets Destroyed in Laundry

A $26 million winning lottery ticket purchased at a California convenience store six months ago has gone unclaimed. The supposed winner said she accidentally put the ticket in the laundry. Some of the employees and customers at the convenience store were surprised when they heard the news. Employees said she recently came back and explained her situation, and said they had video surveillance that supported her claim. But lottery officials said it was too late. #InsideEdition

In Canada, you don't need the actual ticket. They actually track you down and give you money that you didn't know you won.
