PS1 - Auto Destruct - Mission 1

Finally, a walkthrough to one of the games, that I used to play the crap out of the demo of the game, that was featured on the German Euro Demo 05/98 demo disc back in the day, which is Auto Destruct.

It was published by EA and developed by an obscure Swedish company called Neurostone, which only developed Swedish versions of NHL 95 and NHL 96 on the Sega Genesis, which only featured Elitserien teams instead of NHL teams, aswell as this game, which was the only PS1 game they've ever made before they disappeared into nothingness.

It's a 3D driving/shooting game, where you drive around an open city and do objectives such as collect someting, escort someone and destroy something.

The game received mixed reviews, and was not very successful, hence why this game is now pretty rare to find these days.

Here is the first level, which was one of the two levels featured in the Demo, where it's a Tutorial, which teaches you how to play the game.

i had it for my real ps1 but i lost it so now i've been trying tto find the name of the game so i can download it. i thought it was called "super driver blue car superhero thingy" or something like that

Thanks for this, I  finally found it by googling for a ps1 game with a blue car. I remember playing the demo a lot of times although i had no idea what to do as the game was in english and I'm german. But driving the car was so fun.

On Christmas I got the PlayStation 1 I was super young this was the first game my parent bought for me I must of been 10 or something can’t remember. Never forgot this game.

This is an underrated gem! Not a Twisted Metal clone at all. I actually think it's a good predecessor to the first Driver with combat.

Wow this looks crazy good for a PS1 game wtf it almost passes as a PS2 game
Simple yet detailed UI with a minimap, colorful graphics, extensive tutorial, the music. Damn. I can go on and on lol

Yeahh.. I remember playing this when I was 8 or 9. I don't think I got that far into the story or missions, though I liked how you could smash your car into stuff like doors and, when inside multi level buildings, windows aswell(oh yeah and you could run over and shoot ppl aswell, good times). I think i still have this game somewhere...**searches for game**
