I listened to Neil Young for years & strangely, never ever heard this song before! Ironically, it tells a story of the love of my lifetime.. from Canada. We were separated by time, circumstances, & the great Pacific Ocean. I’d been missing him for 24yrs. & only recently learned he passed away in BC. He was a phenomenal musician & songwriter (who underestimated himself).. & was absolutely the most beautiful soul one could ever know. Thank you awesome, Neil, for singing such a song.. unwittingly about this man.. a fellow compatriot, & my forever love .
