I think you guys have a good young team and a QB with a lot of potential. All young QBs get a welcome to the NFL game.

As far as the way the commanders defense “held”. I think you are forgetting that Gabe Davis dropped 2 big passes, one for a TD and Knox dropped a TD. There were also quite a few phantom calls that they refused to show that kept the ball with Washington and that horrible tripping call that hurt buffalo that just non existent. Or that fumble that for the first time I have ever seen they called forward progress as a player got lit up. I normally think their are bed ref calls in both directions so it evens out but I can’t recall a single ify call that went buffalos way.

My point isn’t to trash your defense just being realistic the Bills settled for fgs on 2 drives after dropped TDs. That’s not something the defense did it’s the offense hurting themselves.

If I were a Commanders fan, my reaction would be "concerned." As a Bills fan, my reaction is also "concerned." Why? The Bills offense was anemic to pathetic until the 4th quarter, when the Commaders defense was gassed. I think the blowout would have been the other way around if the Commanders had a defense like ours. I'm very concerned about our prospects against the Dolphins next week.

Bills are an elite team. When you play elite teams you have to play a clean game and not beat yourself. Comms gave JA a short field all day and let him run for FDs on 3rd and long. They were outplayed and out-coached today. Learn and move on.

Howell will NEVER be considered a good QB and that is because he will not survive long enough to learn the needed skills. Rivera has no idea what a good OL is and doesn't want any because he doesn't want anything to take away for how good his DL looks ( in practice) sadly it hurts them in league play simply because they never practice against NFL competition.

It seems like Washington's O-Line would have trouble against Philly, but I think they're gonna do well for some reason. Call it divisional familiarity, but I think they have a chance next week.

I'm a Eagles fan and I was rooting for the Bills.
But, it's only one game out of 3. You have a new offensive coordinator trying to figure out what his quarterback can and cannot do. It's early and It's a long season.
