Dj Pool boi Is the best producer I’ve ever listened to. You have a way of letting the listener feel an emotion without words a sense of nostalgia a sense of peace a setting in time. I’ve listened to all of of your beats songs what ever you call them, in a way every song I listen to, has an emotion a story in a way I can’t quite explain it but I’ll try my best. The emotion your songs inflict on me is beautiful I link the songs beat to an emotion I may have at the time and I picture my memories with your songs in the background kind of like a story or a short movie what ever memory I may have of the past happy or sad it’s sill a memory that I look back on and that brings me joy. I thank you for those memories because with out your music I might have forgotten about the nostalgia those memories bring me. I discovered this album amidst addiction, during a point of my life where I felt lost. I would ride the bus to work, play this album and just stare out of the window. For that, however long bus ride, I felt moments of peace, serenity, and sadness where the majority of day was chaos. I have been sober from what no longer serves me for 3 yearrs now and listening to this album still evokes those emotions but in different ways, I still feel that sadness but more so for the person I was and how it ever got that far. I still feel peace knowing I made it out by the graces of my higher power. I still feel the serenity that melodies bring me and the idea that a song can stay the same while you transition through stages of life and it mean something different to you during that stage. DJ Poolboi didn't save my life but he made the bumpy road a little more settling.

I remember living my early childhood in Chicago and B96 would be on the radio with Eddie and Jobo and the 12 o'clock traffic jam would come on, it was all DJ Marksi, Jumpin Julian Perez, etc, and I remember the house music they would play and i would evaporate into thin air, I couldn't understand the feeling I was getting that I never had anywhere else, not even love can fill the void that is house music. These few minutes brought goosebumps, butterflies, elation, and a peace deep in my soul. Thank you for creating feelings I need so bad in my life right now💚💚
