I'm going to assume that for the 10 year anniversary of Android in 2018 they are going to revamp the UI of Android 9.0 kinda like IOS 6 to IOS 7. I've been using Android since Gingerbread (had an iPhone 4 for 1 year then went back to Android) I'm personally really looking forward to Nokia's 2nd generation of Android phones.

I remember getting my Razr and immediately updated to Ice Cream Sandwich. That was when I first started following Android OS news. Before that I had the OG Droid that I used for a long time. Loved that phone. Now I'm typing on a LG G5 and I'm waiting for my Moto G6 to get shipped to my home.

I am still using my tablet with Android 2.1. It still works very well and is very sturdy built. I use things until the wheels come off sometimes. This tablet has been all over the USA when I drove truck and when my wife and I traveled and camped mostly in the western USA. I am still very impressed how well built this unit is.

Nexus 5 with KitKat was for me Bar None the greatest experience and was awesome phone.

To anyone: lately I've been reading lots of comments on Android news about how great will be when Google start making their own SoC... what I want to know is.... would it be possible for Google to get a Kirin SoC from Huawei, and customized it to work better for the pixel 3 if they can't have their own SoC? I mean, they did something similar with the moto x back in the day, and that device was praise a lot.
