That door on the side panel is genius for mounting 2.5” drives. Truly an extremely well thought out case. Having built my personal rig in an 011 I was amazed by the hdd bays etc, just the little things that enable a clean build. But having just built my partners new system in a H9 elite, it’s leaving lian li in the dust. Most will say it’s a clone, I say it’s a leap forward.

I almost bought O11D EVO but I decided not to buy it because steel frame obstructed the view. I’m glad that I waited for a few months. I ordered the NZXT H9 Flow immediately after saw it during CES. 🔥

I prefer flow version because you get better airflow and no one looks at the top of any case so it really doesn't matter how it looks up there. But as someone who generally prefers smaller cases, I'd like to see a smaller version of this, something to rival lian li 011 mini.

@GivemChills @NZXT what about the top glass panel blocking the AIO exhaust or just fan exhaust. Sure the side top has holes for airflow, but I am betting the temps are lower if you just remove the top glass and use mesh instead (which would be the non elite version then.

The front fans which comes pre installed are they already installed as intake fans or do we have to flip them?

Technically you could do 16 fans. Top fans and side fans can both be push and pull
