In this video I show you how to get drafted #1 in My Career!

Best playstyle to get drafted #1 with is Athletic. It makes it much easier for you to grab rebounds and get steals. You need these stats to help you secure that #1 spot. Getting assists and scoring is easy with all the play styles, but athletic definitely has an advantage on the boards.

Aim for 30+ points with an A+ teammate grade. In this video I show my scoring PG get drafted #2 to the bobcats without 30 points and without the A+ teammate grade.

Don't turn the ball over. I only had 1 turnover in this game and that really helped. Answer positively in your draft interviews with all teams. Notice in my draft video that it says they liked my press conference responses.

Don't tire yourself out by using turbo too much. I got tired near the end and just let a player go right by me for the score. Good thing I didn't get tired earlier in the game. Also, double team your matchup if you are worried about him scoring on you. That will drop your teammate grade down a bunch.

I've got drafted #1 five times so far. If you are still trying to go for it, let me just say its probably hardest to do it with a PG. I found it easiest with SG's but the game is more fun (for me) with a PG. if you are really having trouble, try this: keep playing and restarting the showcase until you have an A- before halftime. Then save and exit. Now if you mess up, you can restart with an A-.

Guys, another tip would be turning off the fatigue before entering MyCareer. I was playing exhibition games for VC before starting out fresh on a new career and forgot to turn it back on and I had infinite energy for the rookie showcase and got drafted #1 overall. Hope this helps.

I've done the rookie showcase at least 3 times lol, and I've came to realize if you pass to Davis he won't make the shot ever. I passed to him many times and he never made the shot, from any distance.

I got in with a Scoring PG thats 5'7 185 pounds. 30 points 9-9 shooting 3-3 free throws, NO turnovers, 18 assists and 3 rebounds *1 offense of board* your video helped me out with the interview process i was scared as hell answering all of them but i aced it and i went from being a projected #3 pick to the Wizs and got picked by the Hornets so happy =D

Good video! I got drafted number one overall with a pg 3pt specialist. 40 pts 5 rebounds and 9 assists with 4.steals. Its a great feeling getting drafted.number one haha
