got my degree just as the great recession hit. couldnt find real work for 3 years, not using my degree... but it was work. now after 8 years, im laid off. i did everything "right". do good in school, go to college, get a job... i've never been fired in my life. its always, "your contract is up" "sorry we cant afford to keep you" "you can make more money collecting! but we'll give a recommendation if you find anything." now im back where i started... only now i have new house and a family to support... no pressure.

In America, if you can make the all "right" choices for a majority of your life and be uninsured for month, get sick and go bankrupt. That is insane and people know it's unfair.

The US economy is based on consumer spending. We keep bailing out companies that provide goods and services as opposed to those who consume those goods and services. I say it makes more sense to give the funds to consumers if consumer spending is the engine of our economy.

When the reserve status of the American dollar goes away, then it will become apparent how poor the US really is. You cannot maintain a country without retention of the ability to manufacture the articles you use on a daily basis. The military budget and all the jobs it brings will have to shrink catastrophically.

Us millennials born into the the lower classes have known the dream has been dead since the time we were suppose to graduate high school during the recession. We’ve had to form unconventional dreams to stay sane, happy, content, satisfied, fulfilled. Our children will burn this shit down if things don’t change.

The working class really needs to organize and go about the business of taking their country back. That is the American way. Boycott the corporations so that they will change their ways. Amazon for one. There are other places on the internet to order what you want or need. Support local businesses. Vote for what you want and not the better of two evils and just show the hell up to vote instead of complaining about it. Actions beget's action.
