Student officer journey - PC Corey training graduation

Student officers go on a 22-week initial training course which involves learning about the Law, role plays and involves studying for exams.

It can be an intense few months. The new officers are in a different environment to their previous roles, and they have a lot to learn. But in that process, they make strong friendships and bonds with the other officers on their course.

At the end of the 22 weeks, they can celebrate passing the training with a graduation ceremony in front of family and friends.

PC Corey shares how he found the past few weeks of training, how it felt to graduate and what the next steps in the journey are.
