Old Delhi, India ➖ Today, I am in Old Delhi trying out every single food item I can find. Ice cream, biriyani, coconuts, and street drinks are just some that are on the list! I was actually here 2 years ago, and not much has changed. the chaotic streets here are still so busy, full of motorbikes, bike carts, people walking up and down, vendors on every corner and so much more! So it's going to be an awesome time eating food with my good friend Ali!

The green liquid you had at the end was 'Jal Jeera' (translated into english - Cumin Water). But obviously the drink has much more than cumin. It contains salt and other spices, mint leaves, and lemons. If you drink this on a hot summer day in North India then you can move about in the sun all day without getting a heat stroke. That is why the drink is so popular in India. The taste grows with time. There is another variant of the drink that is called 'aam Panna' or mango panna, made from raw mangoes instead of using lemons for sour flavour. This is also the water (or very similar to the water) that you add to pani puris if you were wondering.
