The World Food Programme is warning that the number of people in need of aid in South Sudan will increase this year.
Years of conflict have left nearly half of the population relying on food assistance.
And, as Al Jaazeera's Hiba Morgan reports, recent flooding has made the situation worse for thousands more.

The comments on this video confirm there is no humanity left in this world, anybody who can look at a child dying of starvation and feel no compassion for them you are done, your soul is dark and your heart is like a lump of coal.

I praise and thank God. God Always Hears us and Sees us. I ask God humbly to Bless the children and the believers in God. If one does not believe in God, start now. We did not Create this world and ourselves. God Is our One and Only Creator. So Glorious God Is!

Why the world even bother about such people the best thing need to be done is to stop the aid because such lazy people doesn't deserve it until when should we continue helping you don't you think it's time for you now to start depending on yourselves

No sympathy from me, how much longer must everybody else keep handing over their hard earned resources to support these " lost" causes? What gives us the right to interfere in the domestic affairs of independent sovereign nations, anyway?
