Posterior cutaneous of the thigh is situated medial to sciatic nerve at subgluteal level, towards the end of video its shown to be lateral to sciatic nerve..

Had this done today, my whole glute and leg and my foot is on fire 🔥. It’s not even day one yet but this is difficult. 😥 I hope this helps soon! Doc said it could perhaps take up to a few days.

Question: subgluteal approach is also described as going between long head of biceps and adductor magnus. so technically speaking the approach you described above must be transgluteal one

Question: Why not block both the sciatic and the posterior cutaneous nerve of the thigh at the gluteal crease to save time??
